Role Overview:
We are Kenya’s largest-digital real estate listing platforms — and we are expanding our on-ground sourcing network.
We are looking for disciplined, street-smart, self-driven individuals who understand their local neighborhoods and can identify vacant houses for rent or sale before anyone else does.
This is not a passive internship. This is a field-driven, performance-based opportunity for individuals who want real exposure to the real estate market while working remotely with structure, accountability, and growth potential.

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and source vacant residential properties (for rent or sale) within your locality.
- Engage professionally with property owners, caretakers, and agents to gather accurate property details.
- Capture clear, high-quality, well-lit photographs using your smartphone.
- Collect complete and verified information (pricing, amenities, availability, property condition).
- Submit listings accurately through the Crib Index system.
- Maintain active communication with the team via Slack.
- Meet agreed monthly property sourcing targets.
- Represent Crib Index professionally in the field at all times.
- Ensure ethical sourcing and obtain permission before taking property photos.
Qualifications:
- Must reside in the area where properties will be sourced.
- Diploma or Degree (ongoing or completed) in Real Estate, Business, Marketing, IT, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
Must own:
- A smartphone with a high-quality camera (clear, professional photos required).
- A desktop or laptop with minimum:
- Intel Core i5 (6th Generation or higher)
- 8GB RAM
Reliable internet connection with:
- Minimum 15Mbps download speed
- Minimum 20Mbps upload speed
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Skills:
- Basic working knowledge of Slack.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Gmail).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic photography skills (framing, lighting, angles, clarity).
- Attention to detail and high data accuracy.
- Time management and personal discipline.
- Confidence approaching and speaking with property stakeholders.
What Success Looks Like:
- Minimum agreed number of verified property listings submitted per month.
- 90%+ approval rate of submitted listings.
- Clear, professional-quality property images.
- Timely responses to team communication (within 24 hours).
- Building strong local relationships with property owners and caretakers.
- Demonstrating ownership, reliability, and initiative without constant supervision.
